Summer Holiday Fun in Shropshire with HAF (Holiday Activities and Food)

There are still spaces available on the summer Shropshire HAF programme, at several holiday clubs.

Children and young people aged 4 (reception class) to 16, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals and those who meet the wider eligibility criteria, can access free places on holiday clubs and activities.

There is something on offer for everyone including sports, arts, cooking, forest schools and other exciting opportunities. Free nutritious meals will be provided at each session, as well as information to benefit the whole family.

We are excited to announce four new holiday clubs this summer at Belvidere School; Brightstar Boxing Battlefield Shrewsbury; Ludlow Primary School and Shrewsbury Cathedral Catholic School.

Free gym membership, swimming, swimming lessons and food vouchers are also being offered at participating leisure centres.

Andy Hall, Portfolio Holder for Children and Education, said: “Spaces are still available at some holiday clubs this summer. Children and young people will have the chance to socialise with friends, take part in fun and engaging activities, be active and receive a delicious meal. I urge families to book whilst spaces are still available.”
